If you live in the London Borough of Barnet and have diabetes, or have a friend or relative with diabetes, then maybe we can help.

Every other month we, the Barnet Voluntary Group, meet and discuss common problems. We arrange to have a speaker who will talk on an issue of concern and interest and then take questions after.

We meet on WEDNESDAY evenings at AVENUE HOUSE, EAST END ROAD, FINCHLEY. This has the advantage of being relatively central within the the large area of London Borough of Barnet.

The venue has a hearing aid loop facility.

Our speakers will be Dr Jonathan Katz
Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at Barnet Hospital.
He will be talking about How Diabetes can affect your body and new developments for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.

Please note that the discussion will be preceeded by the AGM for the Barnet Voluntary Group, and therefore we have a slightly earlier start.

There is no need to book, just turn up!  

The meeting starts promptly at 7.15pm
